New Home Rock Climbing Wall Forums

home rock climbing walls forum

Collaborate with other builders and be inspired has launched a brand new forum dedicated entirely to home rock climbing walls. Share your pics, ask your questions, connect with other home rock climbing wall builders.

Currently the best place we have to collaborate is Facebook, which is good for a quick share or pic, but makes a poor place for a permanent, searchable, categorizable forum. Plus all your non-climber family and friends end up wading through everything you post and asking if Grigri is your new girl.

The new forum will start with three sections and grow as needed:

General is where you can post pics of your wall, ask construction and design questions, offer advice, swap hold making tips, review gear, etc.

Climbing Holds share your climbing hold brewing wisdom, or come learn from the experienced hold makers.

Yard Sale is for gear companies who want to share with the community their latest creations or promotions. Whether you are a one-man-shop shaping holds in the garage, or a larger business, show us your stuff. This forum is independant of all gear companies.

What to do first:

  1. Register for the forums by clicking “Login” in the top navigation bar. Then click “Register“.
  2. Login with the username and password you create.
  3. Visit the Forums by clicking “Forum” in the top nav.
  4. Post a pic of you home rock climbing wall in the obvious thread, post a question, or provide an answer. This photo thread will become the go-to spot for construction inspiration especially the inexperienced, so please be generous and help other builders with some pics.
  5. Come back often.

The forum is new and might seem sparse for awhile. Do let this turn you away. The site has a strong following and it will take off with your help. If you encounter any technical difficulties along the way please contact me.
